The Process

Initial Interaction - Gathering Information

In your first conversation with our tax advisers, we’ll reassess your eligibility for a claim and gather comprehensive details about your circumstances and tax arrangements. Our goal is to obtain a clear understanding of the items you can claim a tax rebate for. Following this discussion, you’ll be assigned a dedicated account manager to manage your claim.

Accounting and Submission Process

After gathering all necessary documentation, our tax agents, accredited by the FCA, will assemble your claim and submit it to HMRC, overseeing the process on your behalf. At this point, you might receive a communication to confirm authorization for Taxpal to act on your behalf. Subsequently, HMRC will proceed with processing your claim, a task that typically spans 6 to 12 weeks.

Personal Information and Required Documents

Your designated account manager will reach out to inform you of any necessary documents required to support your claim. These may encompass personal identification verification, expense receipts, P60s, 64-8 forms, and your UTR (Unique Taxpayer Reference) number. If you lack any of these documents, your account manager can provide guidance on obtaining copies. Prompt collection of requested documentation facilitates the advancement of your claim.
